Self-care is something I find very important for my overall health and happiness. In most recent years I’ve come up with my top tips on how to feel good on any day of the week.
Tip #1: Unplug
Turn off that phone! Take a time out on electronics and go for a walk. When I do this I can immediately feel myself start to relax.
Tip #2: Pamper nights are important
Take the time to paint your nails or treat yourself to a face mask! I’m also a big fan of a nice lush bubble bath.
Tip #3: Beach days are the best days
A big part of my self-care is the saltwater the ocean brings! Soaking up the sun and sand at least once a week can make a world of a difference in my mood.
Tip #4: GNO
Having a night out with all your best gal pals can really set the tone for the week! Going out with my friends is such a fun time and is an essential part in taking care of myself.
Tip #5 Do you boo!
At the end of the day, we know what’s going to make us feel great mind body and soul. I encourage you to jot down some helpful things that cater to your self-care and start taking the time to do them! When we feel our best, we can truly accomplish so much.
